Getting started with Clarion

How do I create my Clarion account?

Follow the account creation link provided by CivilTalk or in a Clarion email shared with you. Enter the requested information and complete the account setup process.

Once your account is active, you can sign in to access reports shared with you and begin using your available observation minutes.

How do I sign in to Clarion?

Go to the Clarion sign-in page and enter the email address associated with your account.

If you are having trouble accessing your account, use the available password recovery option or contact the CivilTalk team for assistance.

What are observation minutes?

Observation minutes represent the amount of conversation time available for Clarion to observe and analyze.

Your available balance determines how much conversation time you can use before additional minutes or a plan may be required.

How do I use my free observation minutes?

Your included observation minutes can be used to experience Clarion with one of your own meetings or conversations.

Sign in to your account, choose the appropriate option to begin an observation, and follow the on-screen instructions.

What kind of conversation should I use for my first observation?

Choose a real conversation where understanding communication dynamics would be useful. This might include a one-on-one meeting, coaching conversation, team discussion, feedback session, or another meaningful interaction.

A normal, naturally occurring conversation will usually give you the clearest sense of what Clarion can reveal.

What happens after my conversation?

After the observation is complete, Clarion processes the conversation and generates a Conversational Intelligence Report.

Once the report is available, you can open it from your Clarion account and review the insights generated from the conversation.

What should I look for in my first report?

Start by looking for patterns or moments that stand out rather than trying to absorb every detail at once.

Consider:

  • Which communication patterns appear most significant?
  • Were there moments that changed the direction or tone of the conversation?
  • What confirms something you already suspected?
  • What surprised you?
  • What could you apply to your next conversation?
Someone shared a Clarion report with me. What do I do?

Open the email from CivilTalk and follow the link to access the shared report. If you do not already have an account, you may be asked to create one before viewing it.

Once your account is active, the report should be available through Clarion.
