CivilTalk Sessions

Building the World’s First AI-Powered Platform for Civil Discourse

Traditional media and social media platforms thrive on outrage and polarization. Civiltalk represents the opposite force — using AI to moderate, mediate, and model civility. Civiltalk is the antidote to the attention economy — using AI not to manipulate, but to model emotional intelligence and restore civil discourse.

Clarion AI elevates conversations:

Public meetings, small groups, digital media/social platforms, podcasts, one on one meetings

by amplifying emotional intelligence skills, civility, and well-being - the foundation of a healthier and successful society.

Each session features guests with opposing views moderated a CivilTalk moderator and with Clarion, our AI co-host/guide, integrated before, during, and after each conversation. The conversation is guided by questions that prompt the opportunity for guests to make their case. The format reveals how emotionally intelligent dialogue looks, sounds, and feels when people approach disagreement with empathy, curiosity, and respect. Clarion generates prompts, listens to tone and civility markers, and produces a post-show Civility Report. The format makes Clarion a visible demonstration of our technology — showing how AI can help humans disagree better.

Today, audiences are exhausted by division and distrust. Civiltalk Sessions meets this cultural moment by offering a calm, intelligent alternative. By showing civility in real time, we transform marketing into demonstration. Each episode is a live case study in emotional intelligence and human-AI collaboration.

Session Planning and Production

Every Civiltalk Session is designed to honor the courage it takes to engage thoughtfully and respectfully on difficult subjects.

In advance of the session, participants:

  • are informed -

    • they will be part of a CivilTalk Session with an explanation of our EI Behavior Model.

    • Clarion AI will be listening to acknowledge the demonstration of emotionally intelligent behavior and reframe messaging when needed.

    • Receive background information about CivilTalk and have the opportunity to ask questions prior to the session.

  • On the day of the Session, we will review the purpose of the exercise, explain what will be happening, and describe post-Session follow-up.

  • Each member will provide written acknowledgment confirming their understanding and consent to participate.

  • Then the Session will begin.

CivilTalk Promise:

  • We showcase your successes—moments of civility, empathy, and insight—so others can learn from your example. This principle ensures psychological safety for participants.

  • We will never highlight missteps publicly.

  • Privately, we can provide a Session summary identifying opportunities to guide participants to more productive behavior (upon request)

  • We will always maintain our brand integrity by encouraging courageous, civil, emotionally intelligent Sessions.
